Today, on the 13th of May, 2024, Govt. Degree College, Marheen as per the instruction from the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of India organized a “youth parliament competition” to make the college students aware of the workings of the real parliament.
This function was organized in the form of a Mock parliament presented by the college students in which they tried their level best to provide then a simulated view of the real workings of the parliament in they also designated the students as Speaker, P.M, Home Minister, finance Minister, Defense Minister, Chief Minister, and other members of the parliament.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Anupama Gupta, Principal highly appreciated the efforts taken by the students and applauded the HOD Political Science Department Dr. Hasina Rajput for working so hard to make this function successful. All the staff members also make their presence in this function.
