In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten the noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of public resources.
In a surprise operation which was carried out at different locations in Rural zone of District Jammu.
Police Station Nagrota seized two vehicles, one tractor trolley bearing chassis no MBNAK48ACPTD59573, Engine No CJ1354/PD003180 and one small tipper bearing Chasis no. MAT505351H8F12330, registration no.JK02CB/0147, both loaded with sand without form A.
Police Post Jourian seized two Tractors, one bearing Reg.No.JK02DG-4883 Loaded with Sand and another Bearing Chassis No KYBDK1377298S3 Loaded with RBM, both without form A.
After detaining these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed of necessary legal actions.
While giving the details SP RuralJammu, conveyed that Jammu Police is committed to protecting public property and eradicating the menace of illegal mining in the area.
