Jammu & Kashmir police in Jammu District continue tightening the noose against bovine smugglers under Operation Kamdhenu.
A police team of Police Post PouniChak lad by incharge PP foiled one bovine smuggling bid rescued 05 bovines and seized 01 Mahinder bolero pickup bearing registration number JK19 A 2928 from Seora area while the driver of the said vehicle fled from the spot.
In this regard, FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Domana and further investigation of the case is underway.
The general public of the area appreciated the active role of police for taking tough stand against bovine smugglers.
