As advised by worthy Director Ayush J&K Dr Mohan singh and Approved by Deputy Commissioner Kathua Dr Rakesh Minhas & under Supervision of District Ayush Officer kathua Dr Rakesh Kumar Sharma A mega yoga camp/ Yog Mahotsav organised today on 25th May 2024 at Govt.Degree College Women, Kathua as a Prelude to 10th International yoga Day.
Yoga Mahotsav was conducted under 3 subtitles
- Yoga session2. Yoga for women empowerment
- Free Health Check up
- Yoga Session for Women Health was anchored by Yoga instructor Mr Ankush & Demonstrated by Yoga Instructor Priyanka Sharma. All the students actively participated in the session.
- Yoga for women empowerment – Dr Jyoti Sharma and Dr Rekha Sharma delivered lectures on Women empowerment and role of yoga.
Students participated in Poetry and Speech competitions on yoga & were appreciated.
3 .Fee Health checkup performed by
Dr.Jyoti Sharma and Dr. Rekha Sharma & free Ayush Nutritional supplements were distributed among the students.Principal Govt. Degree College Women and all staff members thanked the ayush department for conducting such yoga camps.
