Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered 2.50 grams approximately heroin like substance from his possession.
A Police party of Police Station Vijaypur headed by SHO PS Vijaypur Insp Zaheer Mushtaq during vehicle checking at NHW Naka AIIMS Vijaypur, intercepted a scooty bearing registration No. JK21C-7020 for its checking. During checking, 2.50 grams approximately heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of said scooty rider.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Mohinder Kumar S/o Mohan Lal R/o Vijaypur.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 64/2024 U/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Vijaypur. Further investigation of the case is going on.
