GDC Mahanpur organized a cleanliness Drive.
NSS UNIT of GDC Mahanpur has organized a cleanliness drive within the campus on 30 April March 2024. It was organized by NSS P.O Dr. Rupalee Jasrotia under the supervision and able guidance of Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College.
The Drive was conducted under “My College, My Pride” banners. The motto of the Drive was to clean and maintain the air temple (Shivling) and the surrounding area. The volunteers cleaned and demarcated the temple area with stones and bamboo sticks.
Moreover, they also painted the area. Besides this, proper rituals were performed to worship Lord Shiva. The Drive concluded with Arti and the distribution of Prasad. Twenty-five students participated in the cleanliness drive.
The faculty members who were present were Dr. Mohinder, Dr. Sudesh, Dr. Jogbinder Singh Soodan, Ms. Nisha, Dr. Sapna, Dr. Nishu, Dr. Ajay, Dr. Anil, Dr. Suman, and Dr. Hilal. Refreshment was given to all the participants.
