On 31st of May, students of semester 2nd and 4th of Govt. Degree College Marheen organized a farewell party to the outgoing class of semester 6th with great enthusiasm. The day was a fiesta fully devoted to the days spent together with teachers and friends. The programme commenced with the welcome address by the Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta who applauded the batch as one of the brightest batches. She appreciated their efforts of semester 2nd and 4th for organizing the event and also expressed her thoughts and wished them luck to make a mark in their future endeavors.
On the occasion, various cultural items were performed by the students of semester 6th along with different competitions such as ramp walk, balloons inflate game, musical chair etc which enabled the students of semester 2nd and 4th to choose Mr. and Ms. GDC Marheen. Moreover, Shubam and Siya of semester 6th were selected as Mr. and Ms. GDC Marheen. Certificates were also distributed to the best NSS volunteers.
The event was coordinated and organized by the faculty of GDC Marheen.
