Kathua, August 05: Today a pledge taking ceremony on “Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption” was held at District Police Line Kathua as well as at all Police establishments of District Police Kathua. DySP DAR Kathua administered oath to the police officers/officials at District Police Line Kathua.
During the ceremony, the officers/officials took the pledge that they shall promote ethical business practices and foster a culture of honesty and integrity, that they shall not offer or accept bribes, that they commit to good corporate governance based on transparency, accountability and fairness, that they shall adhere to relevant laws, rules and compliance mechanisms in the conduct of business, that they shall adopt a code of ethics for all their employees, that they shall sensitize their employees of laws, regulations, etc. relevant to their work for honest discharge of their duties, that they shall provide grievance redressal and Whistle Blower mechanism for reporting grievances and fraudulent activities and that they shall protect the rights and interests of stakeholders and the society at large.
