Department of Education, Government Degree College for Women Kathua, organized an enlightening and informative interaction program for the students of Education. Mr. Bahadur, a differently abled scholar of the Central University of Haryana, was the main resource person.
He interacted with the students and discussed various issues that disabled students are facing. He motivated the students to research social science and choose education as a Major subject in college as per NEP 2020. He further said that in this NEP 2020, there is great scope for students to excel in different areas of life despite their abilities and disabilities.
The principal of the college, Dr. Savi Behl, appreciated the initiative taken by the education department for organizing such a wonderful interaction program. She congratulated the Research Scholar Bhadur for his courage and dedication. She mentioned that he is not only a role model but also an inspiration for the students.
Dr. Rachna Devi, HOD education said that Bhadur came into her contact in 2017 when he was a college student. He is a very dedicated and sincere student, and despite his difficulty, he reached the heights of a Ph.D scholar of Education. He is NET JRF. 50 students participated in this interactive session.
