The primary focus of the inspection was the breach of the main bandh of Bhaag Nallah at key locations including villages Bamberwan, Dhangdevpur, Chak Chhaba, Salalpur, and Khandwal. Additionally, the team visited the Ghati area to assess the flood risk and preventive measures required there. These breaches and vulnerable zones have been significant concerns for the local residents, especially with the onset of the monsoon season.

During the visit, the officials directed the XEN of Flood Control to implement comprehensive anti-flood measures. These include the channelization of river beds and the construction of crate works to mitigate potential flood damage.

The team also took the opportunity to interact with the local population, listening to their concerns and issues related to the monsoon. The residents expressed their anxieties about the flood risks, and the officials assured them that all necessary steps would be taken to ensure their safety and minimize the impact of flooding.

The inspection and subsequent directives are part of a broader effort by the administration to enhance flood preparedness and response in the region, aiming to protect lives and property from the adverse effects of seasonal floods
